The court obliged Karen Kocharyan to publicly apologize to Arsen Torosyan

In November, 2020 political technologist Karen Kocharyan made a post on his personal Facebook page defaming the honor and dignity of deputy, former Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.

Defendant of Arsen Torosyan's interests, partner, advocate of ''AM'' Law Firm David Hunanyan applied to the court, demanding that Karen Kocharyan publicly apologize to Arsen Torosyan, as well as pay the compensation provided by law.

The Court of General Jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan, chaired by Judge Hayarpi Zargaryan, upheld the request of the advocate of "AM" Law Firm David Hunanyan and obliged Karen Kocharyan to publicly apologize to Arsen Torosyan for insulting expressions by posting an apology on his personal Facebook page and, if impossible, in a media outlet with at least a thousand copies, as well as provided a compensation for the insult.
