On April 10, 2020, the prosecutor of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district made a decision to temporarily suspend the powers of the head of the Malatia-Sebastia regional department of the social assistance of the staff of Yerevan municipality.

The citizen was deprived of the right to receive salary in the period from April 10, 2020 to February 4, 2021.

Thanks to the efforts of “AM” advoactes, on December 22, 2020, the Criminal Court of Appeal of the Republic of Armenia made a decision obliging the body conducting the proceedings to eliminate the violation of the citizen's rights.

A lawsuit was filed against the Republic of Armenia with the demand to compensate the damage caused to the citizen.

After studying the circumstances of the case, the advocate of “AM” Karo Khachmanyan presented relevant evidence, as a result of which on May 4, 2022, the court satisfied the claim submitted by “AM” lawyer and decided to confiscate 1,454,129 RA from the Republic of Armenia in favor of the citizen. AMD as compensation for the loss caused in the form of missed benefits, as well as AMD 130,000 as court costs.
